Keith Tabers

Mr. Keith Tabers, 52, of Benton, KY died Thursday, March 24, 2011 at his home following an extended illness. Mr. Tabers was born in Nashville, TN on August 11, 1958 to the late Gerald and Shirley Ann Pierce Tabers. Mr. Tabers graduated Murray High School in 1976 and then graduated the National Joint Apprenticeship Training Program where he attained his electrical license. Mr. Tabers was an electrician and was employed through the IBEW Local Union #816 based in Paducah, KY. Mr. Tabers was a member of the First Baptist Church in Murray.
Mr. Tabers is survived by two daughters, Kori Tabers and Karli Tabers both of Murray; one son, Jared Tabers of Murray; one sister, Terri Burkey and husband Sean of Murray; one brother, Barry Tabers of Paducah, KY; two grandchildren, Riley Tabers and Cooper Tabers both of Cadiz,KY; also surviving a special friend, Cathy West of Aurora, KY.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, March 31, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home with Rev. Brett Miles officiating. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 30, 2011 from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
