Kenneth Paul Collins

Mr. Kenny Collins, age 62, of Murray, Kentucky, died on Thursday, December 20, 2018 at this home.

Mr. Collins was born in Murray, Kentucky on September 6, 1956 to the late James Paul Collins and Margorie Nell (Oglesby) Collins. Mr. Collins recently retired from the Calloway County Sheriff's Office serving as the Resource Officer at the Calloway County High School. Mr. Collins had previously worked at the Murray-Calloway Calloway Co. Hospital Ambulance Service. He was a member of the Independence United Methodist Church.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Collins was preceded in death by one brother, Charles W. Collins.

Mr. Collins is survived by his wife, Pam Collins of Murray, Kentucky; one daughter, Heather Armstrong and husband Brett of Murray, Kentucky; one son, Matthew Paul Collins of Nashville, Tennessee; two sisters, Faye Collins of Benton ,Kentucky and Theresa Hopkins and husband Terry of Murray, Kentucky; two grandchildren, Morgan and Greg Armstrong both of Murray, Kentucky; two brothers-in-law, Jerry Lassiter and wife Patricia and Jimmy Lassiter and wife Cindy all of Murray, Kentucky; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews; as well as his special companion, "Toby".

A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, December 22, 2018 from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home. There will be a private family service and burial.
