Kenneth Ray Fennel

April 24, 1947 — May 10, 2012

Mr. Kenneth Ray Fennel, 65 of Dexter, Kentucky died Thursday, May 10, 2012 at his home after an extended illness.
Mr. Fennel was born in Calloway County, Kentucky on April 24, 1947 to the late Homer Fennel and Livie Burkeen Fennel. Mr. Fennel had worked at Tappan Manufacturing Company, Mattel Incorporated, and later retired from Briggs and Stratton all in which were in Murray. Mr. Fennel was an Army veteran and was a member of the Independence United Methodist Church.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Fennel was preceded in death by two brothers, Frank and Charles Fennel.
Mr. Fennel is survived by his wife, Linda Parker Fennel, to whom he married on January 25, 1968 in Calloway Co; one son, Ray Lynn Fennel and wife Amy of Murray, Kentucky; one sister, Linda Lois Fennel of Murray; as well as two grandchildren, Aaron and Emma Fennel of Murray.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, May 12, 2012 at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home with Rev. Kendrick Lewis and Rev. Marita Burkeen officiating. Burial to follow in the McDaniel Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Friday, May 11, 2012 at the funeral home.
