Kristina Michelle Lee,36, of Murray, KY formerly of Colleyville, TX, passed away Wednesday, December 20, 2017 at her home, following an extended illness. She is survived by her parents, Don and Linda Lee of Murray, KY; aunts, Mary Shipley of Murray, KY; Martha Billington of Stockbridge, GA; Glynis (Jim) Wilkes of Burlington, NC; numerous cousins, Danna, David, Jordan, and Josh Young of Princeton, KY; Gina, Donnie, and John Winchester of Murray, KY, Amanda (Tanner) Richerson of Port Orange, FL, Donald and Lindsey Huie of Stockbridge, GA, Ashley Huie of Crawfordville, FL, Theresa Wilkes of Mechanicsville, VA, Meikle (Greg) Lahue of Salt Lake City, UT, and Nancy (Bob) Boling of Cadiz, KY.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Ewing and Ruth Lee and Owen and Elvie Billington; and uncles, Glenn Billington and Dan Shipley.

Kristina attended Lawrence D. Bell High School in Hurst, TX; Santa Fe College in Gainesville, FL, and Murray State University. She was an accomplished pianist and clarinetist, spending two years with the Greater Dallas Youth Orchestra and two years with Fort Worth Youth Orchestra. She was a member Woodland Heights Baptist Church in Bedford, TX, but attended Hardin Baptist Church after moving to Murray.

Although years of illness kept her from following her earthly dreams, Kristina loved God with all her heart and her desire was to be in the presence of the one she loved dearly. She was a compassionate young woman that never met a stranger, she said, "You never know when you will encounter an angel, so be kind to all." She treasured time with family and friends, inspired those around her so they could endure anything with God's help, and desired life to be simpler. She will be greatly missed on this earth, but we know she is finally resting at home in the arms of Jesus.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 26, 2017 from 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. at the J.H Churchill Funeral Home with a graveside service following at 2:30 p.m. at the Murray City Cemetery officiated by Ricky Cunningham. Pallbearers will be cousins: David, Donnie, Jordan, Josh, and family friend Justin Holland. Special music to be performed by David Young.
