Larry Wade Cunningham

Mr. Larry Wade Cunningham, age 78 of Ardmore, Tennessee formerly of Kirksey, Kentucky, died Tuesday, July 30, 2019 at his home in Ardmore.

He was retired welder and pipefitter for Arkema in Calvert City, Kentucky; he was a member of the Ardmore Church of Christ.

Larry was born in Calloway County, Kentucky on November 3, 1940 to the late Lloyd and Clara Mae Tidwell Cunningham. In addition to his parents he is also preceded death by one sister, Aleta Beane and one grandson Kaleb Giles.

He is survived by one daughter, Lisa Cunningham Giles and husband Chris of Kinston, Alabama; one son, Larry Wayne Cunningham of Ardmore, Tennessee; five grandchildren, Ashely Cunningham and husband Jamy Kovach of Ardmore Tennessee, Desiree Cunningham of Ardmore, Tennessee, Damon Cunningham of Madisonville, Kentucky, Skylar Williams of Panama City Beach, Florida and Shyanne Williams of Panama City Beach, Florida; eight great grandchildren, Alivia Cunningham, Violette Nelson, Jasper Kovach, Keller Kovach, Bode Kovach, Alexandria Williams, Marilyn Jane Bingham and Jackson Williams. Several nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Saturday, August 3, 2019 in the chapel of the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home. Mike Fields and John Dale will officiate with burial to follow in the Mount Carmel Cemetery in Kirksey, Kentucky. Visitation will be held from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. Friday, August 2, 2019 at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home.
