Larry Geib

Mr. Larry Geib, age 60, of Murray, Kentucky, died on Friday, October 19, 2018, at the Murray-Calloway County Hospital.

Mr. Geib was born December 20, 1957 in Akron, Ohio to the late Garnett Clay Geib and Lorraine Smith Geib. He was an employee of the Kentucky Department of Revenue as a state property assessor. He was a 1980 graduate of Murray State University with a B.S. and was member of the First Baptist Church of Murray. Mr. Geib also enjoyed many years with the Youth Baseball Association and the Murray Calloway County Soccer Association.

Survivors include his wife of forty years, Marla Daniel Geib of Murray, Kentucky, two sons, Ryan Geib and wife Lindsay of Pensacola, Florida and Tyler Geib and wife Lorena of Greenville, South Carolina; as well as three grandchildren, Grayson Geib, Davis Geib, and Alexander Geib all of Pensacola, Florida.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, October 22, 2018 at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home with Bro. Boyd Smith and Bro. Keith Inman officiating. Entombment will follow in the Murray Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m., Monday, October 22, 2018 at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home.
