Larry Grugett

Larry Dalton Grugett, age 66, of Almo, Kentucky, died Thursday, May 28, 2015, at Murray-Calloway County Hospital.

Mr. Grugett was born February 26, 1949, in Murray, Kentucky, to the late Bill and Irene Grugett. He graduated with honors from Murray State University with a B.S. in chemistry and worked as a chemist for SKW Alloys in Calvert City for more than 20 years. He was a member of Flint Baptist Church in Almo, Kentucky.
Mr. Grugett was preceded in death by his parents, Willie and Irene Grugett; and brother-in-law Don Roach. He is survived by his sister, Linda Roach; and a niece, Joy Roach Humphreys and her husband James Humphreys all of Murray.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 30, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at the Murray Memorial Gardens chapel in Murray, Kentucky with Brother Bill Miller officiating. Burial will follow. Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 30, 2015 from 1:00 p.m. until funeral hour (2:00 p.m.) in the chapel of Murray Memorial Gardens.
