Larry Joe "Hi Pockets" Rogers

Mr. Larry Joe “Hi Pockets” Rogers, age 70, of Murray, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, February 19, 2025, at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky.

 Mr. Rogers was born in Murray, Kentucky, on August 22, 1954, to the late Paul K. Rogers and Mary Alice (Morris) Rogers. Mr. Rogers retired from Darnell Marine and was of the Church of Christ faith. 

 In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister-in-law, Sandra Rogers.

 Mr. Rogers is survived by his two brothers, Franklin Rogers and his wife Judy and Glenn “Splinter” Rogers all of Murray; two nieces, Renae Rogers Fain and Susan Darnell both of Murray; a nephew, Richard Thomas Rogers of Las Vegas, Nevada; as well as a special friend, Leyda Cuellar of Murray. 

 A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
