LaShanda N. Scott

Ms. LaShanda N. Scott, age 31, of Murray, Kentucky died Tuesday, April 11, 2017 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

She was a member of the Higher Praise Worship Center; she was an employee of the Higher Praise Learning Center Daycare and also worked at Food Giant in Murray.

She was born May 6, 1985 in Murray, Kentucky

She is preceded in death by her father, Charles Scott; grandparents, Tump and Corrine Foster

LaShanda is survived by her daughter, Meghan Scott-Duncan of Murray, Kentucky; her mother, Shelia Scott of Murray, Kentucky; one brother, Charles "Chuck" Scott and wife Tara of Murray, Kentucky; special friends, Kevin Gorham of Mayfield Kentucky and Terry Gibson of Hazel, Kentucky; uncle, Pete Foster of Murray, Kentucky; one niece, Lily N. Scott and one nephew Jaxon Scott.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Saturday, April 15, 2017 at the Higher Praise Worship Center. Pastor Ed Clere will officiate with burial to follow in the Murray City Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. Friday, April 14, 2017 at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home. Visitation will also be held Saturday, April 15, 2017 from 1-2 p.m. at the Higher Praise Worship center.
