Laurel McManus Doughty

Mrs. Laurel Ashely McManus Doughty, age 27, of Murray, Kentucky, died Tuesday, April 14, 2015 at Lourdes Hospital in Paducah, Kentucky.

She was a homemaker; she was a member of the Glendale Road Church of Christ.

Laurel was born July 11, 1987 in Jacksonville Florida.

She is preceded in death by one uncle, Bruce Wayne McManus; grandfather, Hugh Wayne McManus; grandmother, Frances Thompson and step grandfather, Lloyd Thompson.

Laurel is survived by her husband, Tony Doughty of Murray, Kentucky; mother Tamra Dawn Duncan McManus and friend Linda Burgin of Calera, Alabama; father, Kevin McManus and wife Kimberly of Murray, Kentucky; her dogs, Tessa and Bandit; sister-in-law; Lisa Ann Phillips of Murray, Kentucky; step sister, Amanda Armstrong of Cadiz, Kentucky; two step brothers, Alvin Armstrong Jr of Battle Creek, Michigan and Stanley Armstrong of Battle Creek Michigan; aunt, Tracy Duncan Warren and husband John of Naples, Florida; grandparents, Shirley and Glenn Bouknight of Madison, Alabama; cousins, Ryan Patrick Keegan, Stephanie Joyner, Leigha Andrews, Sharon Windsor, and Will Henson.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 18, 2015 in the chapel of the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home. John Dale will officiate, with burial to follow in the Murray Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held Friday, April 17, 2015 at the J.H. Churchill funeral home from 4:00 -8:00 pm.
