Mrs. Lawanda R. Cashion, 67, of Murray, Kentucky died on Thursday, May 08, 2014 at Spring Creek Health Care.

Mrs. Cashion was born in Calloway County, Kentucky on January 5, 1947 to the late Ernest Morrison and Lala ((Turner) Morrison. She was a member of the Grace Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents Mrs. Cashion was preceded in death by four brothers and four sisters.

Mrs. Cashion is survived by three sons, Jimmy Cashion and Dennis Cashion both of Murray, Kentucky and Donnie Cashion and wife Edna of Hazel, Kentucky; two brothers, Phillip Morrison and wife Linda and James Morrison and wife Patricia all of Murray, Kentucky; as well as six grandchildren, Jimmy Cashion, Jr., Shalyn Cain, Mason Cashion, Dominic Cashion, Damian Cashion and Karleigh Cashion.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, May 10, 2014 at the Mt. Pleasant View Baptist Church Cemetery in Dukedom, Tennessee at 12:00 p.m. (noon) with Brother Hal Barrow officiating. Burial will follow. Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 10, 2014 from 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home.
