Mrs. Lee Ann Staples, age 52, of Hazel, Kentucky died on Tuesday, October 17, 2017 at her home.
Mrs. Staples was a homemaker, a member of the Memorial Baptist Church. She was a 1984 graduate of Murray High School and had attended Western Kentucky University.
She was born in Lexington, Kentucky on August 16, 1965
She is survived by her husband, Carlie E. Staples of Hazel, Kentucky; they were married in Bowling Green, Kentucky on June 1, 1991. In addition to her husband she is also survived by her parents, Dr. Ronald "Doc" and Jane Babb of Murray, Kentucky; one daughter, Crystal Knapp and husband Kenny of Murray, Kentucky; two sons, Carlie A. Staples and wife Stacey of Clarksville, Tennessee and Alec Staples of Hazel, Kentucky; three grandchildren, Keagan DuVall, Mason Staples and Kason Nadeau.
Memorial graveside services will be held 1:00 p.m. Friday, October 20, 2017 in the Maplewood Cemetery in Mayfield, Kentucky. Bro. Jim Simmons will officiate.
