Mr. Leonard Vernon "Barlow" Vaughan, age 73, of Sedalia, Kentucky died on Thursday, February 25, 2016 at St. Francis Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee.
Mr. Vaughan was born October 19, 1942 in Graves County, Kentucky, to the late Bernice Vaughan and Irene Forrester. He was a retired wholesale salesman with Rhodes Lumber Supply after 35 years of service. He was also a member of the Burnetts Chapel United Methodist Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sister, Dorothy Faye Guzman; three brothers, Marvin, James, and Lelon Vaughan; also two grandchildren, Zade and Zim Vetzel.
Survivors include his wife, Deborah Snow Vaughan of Sedalia, Kentucky, they married May 27, 1995, in Sedalia, Kentucky; daughter, Terah Snow of Paducah, Kentucky; three sons, Kent Vaughan and wife Melissa of Sedalia, Kentucky, John Paul Snow II and wife April of Martin, Tennessee, and Shawn Dietrich Snow and wife Rebecca of Oxford, Mississippi; sister Eva Mae Clark of Mayfield, Kentucky; also 10 grandchildren, and two great grandchildren survive.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, February 28, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at the J.H. Churchill
Funeral Home, Bro. Brian Griffith will officiate. Burial will follow in the Burnetts Chapel cemetery. Visitation will be held Saturday, February 27, 2016 from 5-8 p.m., at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home.
