Lila Nell Smith

Mrs. Lila Nell Smith, 89, of New Concord, Kentucky died Monday, April 30, 2012.
Mrs. Smith was born in Calloway County, Kentucky on May 15, 1922 to the late Odie McClure and Gertie Wisehart McClure. Mrs. Smith was a homemaker and a member of the New Concord Church of Christ.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by her husband, Willie O. Smith; two sisters, Faye Warren and Myrtis Stubblefield; two brothers, Aylon McClure and Mason McClure; granddaughter, Rondah Hale; and one great grandchild, Reese Morgan.
Mrs. Smith is survived by two daughters, Lila Ann McCuiston of Murray, Kentucky and Wilma S. Russell and husband Bruce of Edina, Minnesota; two grandchildren, Kari Jones and April Morgan; eight great grandchildren, Brandi Pickard, Annslie Lamb, Breann Jones, Tanner Jones, Tyler Larkins, Addyson Morgan, Preston Morgan, and Emersyn Morgan; as well as two great great grandchildren, Kaelyn and Wyatt Pickard.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 2, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home with John Dale and Rev. Kerry Lambert officiating. Burial to follow in the Murray Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 1, 2012 from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
