Lila Myers Workman

Mrs. Lila Myers Workman, age 84, of Mayfield, Kentucky formerly of Murray, Kentucky died on Thursday, May 28, 2015 at the Jackson Purchase Medical Center in Mayfield, Kentucky.

Mrs. Workman was born in Lynn Grove, Kentucky on December 6, 1930 to the late Gary Elbert Myers and Cosy Mae Miles Myers. Mrs. Workman retired from Bell Telephone Company in California. Mrs. Workman for several years had volunteered at the Mayfield – Graves County Food Pantry. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Murray.

In addition to her parents Mrs. Workman was preceded in death by two brothers, Covel W. Myers and Rex Myers.

Mrs. Workman is survived by her husband, Kenneth L. Workman of Mayfield, Kentucky, to whom she married on July 5, 1959 in Hazel, Kentucky; also a sister-in-law, Willadene Jones Myers of Indiana.

A private family service will be held. There will be no public visitation or services.
