Linda Sue Parker

Mrs. Linda Sue (Geurin) Parker, age 67, of Murray, Kentucky died on Monday, May 14, 2018 at the Murray Calloway County Hospital.

Mrs. Parker was born in Calloway County, Kentucky on March 18, 1951 to the late J.D. Geurin and Tille (Eldridge) Geurin. Mrs. Parker before retirement worked at the Christian Childcare Center in Murray. She was a member of the New Concord Church of Christ.

In addition to her parents Mrs. Parker was preceded in death by her husband Donnie Parker, who died on September 15, 2013; and by one brother, Joe Geurin.

Mrs. Parker is survived by two daughters, Tammy Hobbs and husband Tim of Murray, Kentucky and Liz Thorn and husband Jim of New Providence, Kentucky; two brothers, Kenneth Geurin and wife Betty of Murray, Kentucky and Jack Geurin of Murray, Kentucky; one brother-in-law, Tommy Parker and wife Martha of Murray, Kentucky; five grandchildren, Tyler Amos, Scotty Ruttman and wife Jasmine, Ryan Nicholas Dickerson and wife Jessica, Madison Hobbs and Parker Hobbs; three great-grandchildren, Mia Amos, Audrey Ruttman and Liam Dickerson; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 18, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home with Ed Davis and Steven Hunter officiating. Burial will follow in the Hicks Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 17, 2018 from 5:00 -8:00 p.m. at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home.
