Linda Sorey

Mrs. Linda Sorey age 60, of Murray, Ky., died Friday, January 6, 2012 at her home.
She was born on August 11, 1951 in St. Brides, Va. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.
She is survived by two daughters, Tammy Kreski, of Jacksonville, Fl. And Charlotte Diane Dabney (Kirk) of Pensacola, Fl., two sons, Donald Ray Bowman Jr. (Tracy) and Billy Ray Bowman, both of Murray, Ky., two sisters, Judy Chavis and Mary Padgett both of Pensacola, Fl, three brothers, Roy Sorey of Pensacola, Fl., and Haywood Sorey, Jr. and Bobby Sorey, both of Chesapeke, Va., seven grandchildren, Billy Ray Bowman, Jr. of Pensacola, Fl., Jessica Bowman, Ashley Bowman and Donald R. Bowman III, all of Murray, Ky., Jett Moon of Jacksonville, Fl., Johnny Duke and Heather Duke both of Pensacola, Fl.
Mrs. Sorey was preceded in death by her parents, Haywood Wilson Sorey Sr., and Stella Lou Phillips Sorey, two brothers, Richard and Billy Lee Sorey.
Graveside services for Mrs. Sorey will be held at 3 p.m. at Hicks Cemetery on Monday, January 9, 2012 with Pastor Ed Clere officiating. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. -2:30 p.m. Monday, January 9, 2012 at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home.
