Lola Mae McClain

Mrs. Lola Mae McClain, 93, of Murray, KY, died Friday, March 11, 2011, at her residence after an extended illness. Mrs. McClain was born in Hickman, KY on March 1, 1918 to the late Lonzo and Matronia Futrell McClure. Mrs. McClain retired owner and operator of Personality Beauty Solon in Murray for 44 years. A member of the University Church of Christ, and attended West Murray Church of Christ.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. McClain was preceded in death by her husband James Brady McClain in 1959; one brother and one granddaughter, Jennifer McClain Wolf.
Mrs. McClain is survived by one daughter, Diana McClain Darnell and husband Gary; two sons, Charles McClain and wife Agnes; Larry McLain and wife Brenda all of Murray, KY; three sisters, eight grandchildren, and sixteen great grandchildren and one great- great grandchild survive.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, March 13, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home with Rev. Kerry Lambert officiating. Burial to follow in the Murray City Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5:00- 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 12, 2011 at the funeral home.
