Mr. Lonnie E. "Red" Flood, age 82, of Murray, Kentucky, died at his home on Monday, November 23, 2020.
Mr. Flood was born October 28, 1938, in Trigg County, Kentucky, to the late Marvin Flood and Olive Futrell Flood. Red work for over 40 years at Fitts Block and Ready Mix as a block truck driver. He attended the Bethel United Methodist Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Darlene Davis; three brothers, William Flood, Johnny Flood and Ronnie Flood.
Survivors include his wife, Mozell Flood of Murray, Kentucky, they married August 29, 1964, in Almo, Kentucky; daughter, Donna Carter of Murray, Kentucky; grandson, Justin Hendrick and wife Chelsea of Almo, Kentucky; two grandchildren, Kamden and Kallen Hendrick both of Almo, Kentucky.
Due to pandemic restrictions private funeral services will be held. Rev. Robert McKinney will officiate, and burial will follow in the Elm Grove Cemetery.
