Loretta Jeffs Barrow

Mrs. Loretta Jeffs Barrow passed away on December 2, 2024, at the Anna Mae Owen Hospice house surrounded by family. 

She was born on January 12th, 1948, to the late Kenneth Jeffs and Ethel Rogers Jeffs. She married the love of her life, Flenoy Barrow on November 24th, 1965. She was a graduate of Ezell's Cosmetology School and Calloway County High School. She loved reading a good book, gardening, fishing and traveling with her husband and family. She was a wonderful cook and baker. She enjoyed sharing her love and knowledge with her children, grandchildren, nephews and nieces. She was an active member of the Ladies Auxiliary VFW post 6291, where she served as the Auxiliary President for several years. She was an active member of the Union Grove Church of Christ. 

Mrs. Barrow was preceded in death by her parents, father and mother-in-law, Finis and Edna Barrow; brothers, Bobbie Jeffs and Carroll Jeffs; brother- in- laws, Dale Barrow, Danny Barrow, David Barrow and Bob Forsee; and sister- in- laws, Karen Jeffs and Lois Jeffs. 

She is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Flenoy Barrow; son, Clint Barrow (Christy), Paducah, KY; daughter, Tina Carter (Phillip), Murray, KY; sisters, Beverly Busher, Union, MO, her twin, Linda Forsee Murray, KY; brother, Kenneth Jeffs, St Louis, MO; sisters-in-laws, Dorothy Barrow, Murray, KY, Brenda Barrow of Murray, KY and Zandra Bailey, Murray, KY; five grandchildren, that she loved and adored, Christopher Barrow (Holly), Odenton, MD, Hunter Carter, Richmond, KY, Carson Barrow (Tayler) Farmington, KY, Will Carter (Natasha) Murray, KY, Caroline Barrow, Paducah, KY; one great grandchild, Camryn Barrow, Farmington, KY; as well as several nieces and nephews, whom she loved and meant the world to her. 

A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, December 7, 2024, at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home & Cremation Services with John Dale and Johnny Parker officiating. Burial will follow in the Murray Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m., Friday, December 6, 2024, at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home & Cremation Services.
