Mrs. Louise H. Lovett Bass, 78, of Murray, died Monday, July 18, 2011 at the Murray Calloway Co. Hospital. Mrs. Bass was born in Trigg Co., KY on February 18, 1933 to the late James E. Hamilton and Nella Mae Knight Hamilton. Mrs. Bass before retiring worked as an attendant on the West Kentucky Parkway. Mrs. Bass attended Friendship Church of Christ.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Bass was preceded in death by her first husband, Billy Ray Lovett; a second husband, Phillip Bass; two sisters, Dean Childress and Sue Thornton; as well as two brothers, Bill Don Hamilton and Dana Johnson.
Mrs. Bass is survived by two daughters, Julie Louise Lovett of Bull Shoals, AR and Tina Lovett Tripp and husband Rudy of Murray; two sisters, Martha “Marti” Wilson of Murray and Debbie Piercefield of Kuttawa, KY; one brother, James Ray Hamilton of Murray; and by two grandchildren, Ira Justin Tripp and Ashley Tripp Rayburn both of Murray.
Funeral service will be held on Friday, July 22, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home with Charles Taylor officiating. Burial to follow in the Friendship Church of Christ Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 21, 2011 at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home.
