Mr. Lubie "Max" Nance age 75, of Murray, Ky., died Sunday, September 01, 2013 at his daughter's home.
Mr. Nance was born December 26, 1937 in Graves Co., Ky., to the late Lendon and Helen Phillips Nance. He was a retired Heavy Equipment operator, and a member of the Poplar Springs Baptist Church,
Survivors include one daughter, Monica Lucas of Murray, Ky., three sisters, Patricia Ann Willett and husband Sam of Murray, Ky., Deborah Kay Brannack and husband Mike of Douglassville, Ga., and Shelia Joyce Herndon of Murray, Ky., also three brothers, Joe Nelson Nance and wife Sandy of Crossville, Tn., Phillip Terry Nance and wife Pixie of Carrollton, Ga., and Ricky Lynn Nance and wife Connie of Rockmart, Ga., also five grandchildren, Drew Henry and wife Jennifer of Louisville, Ky., Nicholas Warner, Bradly Warner, Chaz Lucas, and Olivia Bogard all of Murray, Ky., one great grandchild, Caroline Henry of Louisville, Ky., also lifelong friend for over 70 years, John L. Morgan of Murray.
Mr. Nance was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Harold Gray Nance, and one great grandchild, Rollin Warner.
Private family services will be held at a later date, J.H. Churchill Funeral Home is in charge.
