Mr. Lubie Treas, age 81 of Murray, Kentucky formerly of Nashville, Tennessee, died Thursday, April 3, 2014 at his home
Mr. Treas worked for Gulf Oil Company as a pump and tank mechanic until it was bought by BP Oil were he continued to work until his retirement; he was an Army Veteran; he was a member of the Church of Christ.
He was born in Calloway County Kentucky on May 31, 1932 to the late Johney and Vera Ivy Treas; in addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters.
He is survived his wife, Daytha Short Treas of Murray, Kentucky; they were married on April 11, 1953 in Corinth Mississippi; one daughter, Kathy; two grandchildren, Gerett and Jade; one sister-in-law, Linda Tabers of Murray, Kentucky. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
No public services are schedule.
