Lubie "Chip" L. Veal III

Mr. Lubie “Chip” L. Veal III, age 73, of Murray, Kentucky passed away Friday, April 25, 2025, at his home.

Mr. Veal was born on September 5, 1951, in Murray, Kentucky, to the late Lubie L. Veal Jr. and Carolyn Nelson Veal. Chip was self-employed and a long-time member of the Murray Country Club.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Gretchen Whelchel; two nephews, Brian Jennemann and Justin Budrovich; mother-in-law, Trudy Blase.

Survivors include his wife, Peggy Veal of Murray, Kentucky, they married on December 5, 1970, in Murray, Kentucky; daughter, Ginger Christie of Evansville, Indiana; grandson, Braedon Christie of Evansville, Indiana; two nephews, Jeremy and Joshua Whelchel.

A private celebration of life for family and friends will be held at a later date.
