Mrs. Lucille Haneline, age 96, of Murray, Kentucky, died Tuesday, April 26, 2016 at the Murray Calloway County Hospital.
She was born February 23, 1920 in Calloway County, Kentucky to the late Edgar Thomas and Lottie Carter Cooper. In addition to her parents she is also preceded in death by her husband, Burie Haneline; one sister, Elizabeth Sheridan Jones; one brother, James "Red" Cooper.
Mrs. Haneline was the oldest member of the Coldwater United Methodist Church. She was a homemaker.
She is survived by two sons, Gary Haneline and wife Nancy and Artie Haneline and wife Beth both of Murray, Kentucky; one sister, Helen Tidwell of Murray, Kentucky; four grandchildren, Gary Dean Haneline and wife Marybeth of Reston, Virginia, Scott Haneline, April Haneline and Amanda Hopper and husband Tracy all of Murray, Kentucky; five great grandchildren, Cody Haneline and wife Shelby, Arthur Haneline, Laura Haneline, Chloe Hopper and Andrew Hopper; one great great grandchild, Brynleign Haneline.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Friday, April 29, 2016 at the Coldwater United Methodist Church. Rev. Tim Palmer will officiate with burial to follow in the Coldwater Church of Christ Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Thursday, April 28, 2016 at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home. Additional visitation will take place from 10:00 till funeral hour at the Coldwater United Methodist Church.
