Lucille Thompson

Mrs. Lucille Thompson, 90, of Hopkinsville, KY, formerly of Murray, KY, died Wednesday, July 13, 2011 at the Jennie Stuart Medical Center in Hopkinsville, KY.
Mrs. Thompson was born in Trigg Co., KY on February 14, 1921 to the late William J. Litchfield and Rosella Shaw Litchfield. Mrs. Thompson a homemaker and a member of the New Jenny Ridge Pentecostal Church.
In addition to her parents Mrs. Thompson was preceded in death by her husband Emmitt Thompson, who died on March 15, 1968; one daughter, Wanda Peay and by one grandson, James Johnson.
Mrs. Thompson is survived by one daughter, Fran Thompson of Hopkinsville, KY; five grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; twelve great- great grandchildren and one great – great – great grandchild.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 16, 2011 at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home with Rev. Shelby Underhill officiating. Burial to follow in the Matheny Cemetery in L.B.L. Visitation will be held from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Friday, July 15, 2011 at the funeral home.
