Lucy Finney

Mrs. Lucy Bruce Finney, age 96, of Murray, Kentucky died on Wednesday, June 15, 2016 at Spring Creek Health Care in Murray, Kentucky.

She was a homemaker and school Custodian for East Elementary and the New Concord School. She was a member of the New Concord Church of Christ.

Mrs. Finney was born February 11, 1920 in New Concord, Kentucky to the late Vady and Mary Armstrong Rowlett. In addition to her parents she is also preceded in death by her husband L.A. Finney, one sister, Lucille Dunn, three brothers, Andy Rowlett, Rube Rowlett and Bobby Rowlett; one great grandchild, Drake Page.

She is survived by two sons, John David Finney and wife Gloria of Centralia, Illinios and Donald Lee Finney and wife Jennifer of New Concord, Kentucky; one sister, Julia Parkinson of Centralia, Illinios; one brother, Wade Rowlett and wife Elisa of Centralia, Illinois; four grandchildren, David L. Finney of Centralia, Illinois, Robin Lynn Finney Geurin and husband Tony of Centralia, Illinois, Justin Page and wife Tyetta of Paris, Tennessee and Adam Ryan Page of Cottage Grove, Tennessee; four great grandchildren, Sydney Geurin, Jared Walker Page, Aidain Ryan Page and Roselyn Joy-Anne Page.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Monday, Ju ne 20, 2016 in the chapel of the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home. Blake Jenkins, Bob Haley and Ed Davis will officiate with burial to follow in the Coldwater Church of Christ Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5:00 – 8:00 pm at the funeral home on Sunday, June 19, 2016
