Luenell Hale Nixon

Ms. Luenell Hale Nixon, 85, of Murray, KY died Monday, December 10, 2012 at her home.

Ms. Nixon was born in Calloway County, KY on February 25, 1927 to the late Miley Hale and Flois Ellis Hale. Ms. Nixon worked as a baby sitter as well as set with the elderly and she was a member of the Goshen United Methodist Church.

In addition to her parents Ms. Nixon was preceded in death by three sisters, Estelle Shelton, Pauline Jones and Mary Wilma Swift Danner; and by one brother, Coy Hale.

Ms. Nixon is survived by two sons, Jerry Don Duncan and Kenneth Dale Duncan and wife Cathy all of Murray; as well as four grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, December 13, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at the Murray Memorial Gardens chapel with Rev. David Allbritten officiating. Entombment will follow. No public visitation is scheduled.
