Luvena Lovett

Mrs. Luvena Lovett, age 97, of Murray, Kentucky, died Thursday, August 1, 2013 at the Murray Calloway County Hospital.

She was retired from Kenlake State Park and was a homemaker; she was one of the last members of the Lone Oak Primitive Baptist Church;

She was born in Calloway County, Kentucky on September 13, 1915 to the late Lee Andrew and Edna Billington Donelson. In addition to her parents she is also preceded in death by her husband, Sedley Lovett; two sisters, Elsie Miller and Jennie Donelson; one brother, A.G. Donelson.

She is survived by three daughters, Sally Rogers and husband Phillip, Cynthia Bogard and husband Tommy and Martha Burkeen and husband Tim; one son, Jerry Lynn Lovett and wife Patricia all of Calloway County, Kentucky; two sisters, Nancy Steele and Mabel Maddox both of Murray, Kentucky; eight grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, eleven great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephew also survive.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, August 3, 2013 in the chapel of the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home. Bro. Shelby Underhill and John Sales will officiate with burial to follow in the Lone Oak Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held Saturday, August 3, 2013 from 10:00 am till funeral hour at the J.H. Churchill funeral home.
