Mrs. Marcile Treas, age 100, of Murray, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, April 28, 2024, at Towne Square Care of Puryear.
Mrs. Treas was born on January 23, 1924, in Graves County, Kentucky to the late Carlin Riley and Nina (Gallemore) Riley. She was a homemaker and a member of the Kirksey Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Edward “Jackie” Treas; one daughter, Darrylin Parker and son-in-law, Charles; one son, Donald E. Treas and daughter-in-law, Elwanda; one grandson, Jamie Rutland; as well as two great grandsons, Jonny Staton and Ethan Harrell.
Survivors include two daughters, Gail Parker and husband Max of Murray, Kentucky and Melissa Overbey and husband Bill of Almo, Kentucky; one son, Stephen E. Treas and wife Pam of Murray, Kentucky; 15 grandchildren, Rodney Parker, Hugh Edward Parker, Terry Parker, Jimmy Treas, Kim Cobb, Dawn Dunnaway, Conrad Parker, Zac Parker, Whitney Parker, Tammy Adair, Stephanie Sisk, Bradley Treas, Jason Overbey, Meagan Blagg, and Michele Welborn; as well as 31 great grandchildren, Shonna Tart, Daryl Parker, Leslie Ann Sharp, Brittany Davis, Dustin Parker, Drake Parker, Nicole Thompson, Derrick Treas, Dustin Treas, Trevor Cobb, Lucas Cobb, Patrick Dunnaway, Danielle Barrett, Drake Dunnaway, Sarah Parker, Abby Parker, Ella Parker, Rainy Parker, Autumn Robinson, Marcus Harrell, David Black, Jacob Black, Christopher Black, Hayden Treas, Natalie Treas, Ryan Treas, Jeremiah Welborn, Rachel Maxwell, Corey Rutland, Drayden Treas, and Mia Adair.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, May 2, 2024, at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home & Cremation Services with Bro. Van Russell and Bro. Shawn Haynes officiating. Burial will follow in the Murray Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m., Thursday, May 2, 2024, at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home & Cremation Services.
