Margaret Louise Davis

Ms. Margaret Louise Davis was born December 10, 1937 to the late Dorothy Blanton and Jack Skinner. Ms. Davis departed this life to her eternal resting place on June 25, 2011 at Spring Creek Health Care in Murray, KY.
Ms. Davis accepted Christ as her personal Savior at a young age and was an active member of the St. Johns Baptist Church until her health began to fail.
Ms. Davis leaves to cherish her memories, one son, Kenneth O. Davis of Mayfield, KY; one granddaughter, Makieta NicholeEdwards Davis; two great-grandchildren; four sisters, Helen Jones-Curry of Detroit, Michigan, Belinda Delzer, Sue Wilson, and Gloria Cherney all of Wisconsin; two brothers, Charles Jackson and wife Marie and Bernard Jackson all of Detroit, Michigan; a special friend, Barbara Hines; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents, Ms. Davis was preceded in death by her special friend, Frank Reed; one sister, Willie Mae Moore; five brothers, Jerry, Michael, Danny, Robert, and Herbert Jackson; step father, Willie Jackson; as well as a host of cousins.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 1, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. at the St. Johns Baptist Church in Murray with Rev. Ronald Kendrick, Rev. Eugene Blanton and Thomas White officiating. Burial to follow in the Murray City Cemetery. Vitiation will be at the church from 11:00 a.m. until funeral hour on Friday, July 1, 2011.
