Margaret Kirkland

Mrs. Margaret Kirkland, 67, of Murray, KY died Sunday, November 6, 2011 at her home after an extended illness.
Mrs. Kirkland was born in Hammond, Indiana on February 1, 1944 to the late Henry Leamon Hendon and Myrtle Futrell Hendon. Mrs. Kirkland before retirement worked as a waitress for Sue and Charlie's restaurant; she was a member of the Glendale Road Church of Christ.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Kirkland was preceded in death by one sister, Henry Eta Compton.
Mrs. Kirkland is survived by her husband, Jerry Kirkland of Murray; two sons, Freddie Ray Kirkland of Murray and Nick R. Ray and wife Jan of Murray; also by one brother, L.J. Hendon and wife Renaye of Murray.
Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, November 8, 2011 at 3:30 p.m. at the Coldwater Church of Christ Cemetery with Jimmy Compton officiating. Burial to follow. There will be no public visitation.
