Margaret Shuffett

Mrs. Margaret Shuffett, age 87, died Sunday, July 29, 2018 at Spring Creek Health Care in Murray, Kentucky.

Mrs. Shuffett was born in Greensburg, Kentucky on July 8, 1931 to Rev. Thurman William Squires and Christial Yancy Squires. Mrs. Shuffett was a retired cafeteria worker at Murray High School and, along with her late husband Chuck, published the Montage Magazine from 1993- 2013. Mrs. Shuffett also served as the Murray Country Club junior golf mom for many years.

In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Shuffett was preceded in death by one daughter, Diane Villanova; two sisters, Audra Simpson and Eloise Thompson; and by two brothers, Harold Squires and Max Squires.

Mrs. Shuffett is survived by three daughters, Jan Zobel and husband Gary of Phoenix, Arizona, Nan Bentley of Madison, Alabama and Becky Spann and husband Mick of Murray, Kentucky; one son-in-law, Orazio Villanova of Murray, Kentucky; two sisters, Jane Squires and Connie Squires; one brother, Kevin Squires; seven grandchildren, Anne-Marie Klukan and husband Don, Chas Villanova and wife Kim, Brad Bentley, Mark Bentley, Tyler Roberts and husband Christopher, Jason Spann, and Aloria Cronover and husband Devin; as well as five great grandchildren, Daniel Klukan, Dylan Klukan, Austin Villanova, Kaitlyn Villanova and Olivia Bentley.

At the request of Mrs. Shuffett there will be no public services.
