Margaret Jane Sills

Mrs. Margaret Jane (Kendall) Sills, age 89, of Murray, Kentucky died on Monday, May 07, 2018 at the Murray-Calloway County Hospital.

Mrs. Sills was born in Graves County, Kentucky on November 9, 1928 to the late Hester Thomas Kendall and Ola (Miller) Kendall. Mrs. Sills retired from the housekeeping department at the Murray-Calloway County Hospital. She was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to her parents Mrs. Sills was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd Sills; one daughter, Martha Covey; and by two brothers, David Kendall and Fred Kendall.

Mrs. Sills is survived by one son, James Lloyd Sills of Murray, Kentucky; two sisters, Martha Alice Dowdy of Murray, Kentucky and Kathryn Anderson of Arizona; two grandchildren, Alesia Irvin and husband Michael of Murray, Kentucky and Stacey Arnold and husband Dean of New Concord, Kentucky; five great grandchildren, Chase Irvin, Hanna Irvin, Carinne Wilson, Hunter Arnold and Clara Arnold; as well as one great-great grandchild, Oaklee Arnold.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, May 11, 2018 at 12:30 p.m. at the Murray Memorial Gardens with Rev. Kerry Lambert officiating. Burial will follow. Visitation will be held prior to the graveside service on Friday, May 11, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home.
