Mrs. Marguerite Smallwood, age 90, of Murray, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, May 24, 2022, at her home.
Mrs. Smallwood was born on March 6, 1932, in the Shenandoah Valley, Virginia to the late Lender Runion and Marguerite Runion. She retired as a Tool Room Manager with the Tennessee Valley Authority. She loved to garden in her rose garden, read, and was a great cook.
Survivors include her husband Roy Schmidt of Murray, Kentucky, they married on August 15, 1996, in Sevierville, Tennessee; as well as two brothers, Benny Runion of Clyde, Ohio and Minor Runion of South Carolina.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Friday, June 3, 2022, at the Murray City Cemetery with Steven Hunter officiating with burial to follow. There will be no public visitation held.
