Marjorie Mae Penley

Mrs. Marjorie M. Penley, age 90, of Murray, Kentucky died Friday, January 08, 2016 at the Murray Calloway County Hospital.

Mrs. Penley was born in Bradley, Illinois on September 26, 1925 to the late Harvey Saindon and Maude (Topliff) Saindon. Mrs. Penley was a retired inspector for the Krohler Manufacturing Company in Bradley, Illinois and was a member of the Eastwood Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents Mrs. Penley was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Penley, Jr.; two sisters, Vivian Azzarelli and Darlene Eaten; and one son-in-law, Cecil Cowsert, Sr.

Mrs. Penely is survived by two daughters, Gloria Cowsert of Murray, Kentucky and Andrea Holderman and husband Dennis of Kirksey, Kentucky; one son, Harvey Penley and wife Sharon of Murray, Kentucky; eight grandchildren; as well as twenty two great grandchildren.


Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 12, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home with Bro. Andy Harrell officiating. Burial will be held on Wednesday, January 13, 2016 at 1:30 p.m. at the Kankakee Memorial Gardens in Kankakee, Illinois. Visitation will be held on Monday, January 11, 2016 from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home.
