Marjorie Ruth Tripp

Mrs. Marjorie Ruth Tripp, age 89, of Murray, Kentucky, died on Sunday, November 25, 2018, at Spring Creek Health Care in Murray.

Mrs. Tripp was born on June 15, 1929, in Calloway County, Kentucky to the late Lawson Hunter Lovett and Jennie Walker Lovett. She was a homemaker and a member of the Memorial Baptist Church in Murray, Kentucky.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Thomas "T.R." Tripp; one daughter, Jenna Rose Bucy; and one sister, Maurine Griggs.
Survivors include one sister, Shirley Coles and husband Gerald of Murray, Kentucky; two grandchildren, Richard Bucy of Murray, Kentucky and Curtis Bucy and wife Amber of Murray, Kentucky; four great-grandchildren, Alex Blake Cox of Paris, Tennessee, Thomas Hunter Bucy of Murray, Kentucky, Nicholas Ryan Bucy of Murray, Kentucky, and Sebastian John Bucy of Murray, Kentucky; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Friday, November 30, 2018, at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home with Rev. Martin Severns officiating. Burial will follow in the Friendship Church of Christ Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m., on Thursday, November 29, 2018, at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home.
