Mark "Gopher" Lyons

Mr. Mark "Gopher" Lyons, age 50, of Dexter, Kentucky died at his home on Monday, April 08, 2019.
Mr. Lyons was born on January 30, 1969 in Murray, Kentucky. He was previously employed at Burchett Farms before becoming ill. Mr. Lyons was of Methodist faith and was a member of the Marshall County Elk Lodge #2707.
Mr. Lyons was preceded in death by his grandfather, Dub Lyons and by one brother, Kenny Myers.
Mr. Lyons is survived by his mother, Janie Underwood of Murray, Kentucky; one daughter, Ashley Lyons of Dexter, Kentucky; one sister, Heather Myers of Murray, Kentucky; one grandson, Brantley "BB" Lyons of Benton, Kentucky; grandmother, Margie Lyons of Dexter, Kentucky; Uncle, Steve Lyons and wife Sharon of Murray, Kentucky; nephew, Tyson Searer of Murray, Kentucky; cousins, Michael Brandon, Sharon Bybee, Karen Brandon, Chad Lyons and Ben Lyons all of Murray, Kentucky.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 13, 2019 at 5:00 p.m. at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home with Rev. Ronnie Burkeen officiating. Visitation will be held prior to the memorial service on Saturday, April 13, 2019 from 3:00 – 5:00 p.m. at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home.
