Martha Rhodes Broach

Mrs. Martha Rhodes Broach, age 83, of Murray, Kentucky died on Monday, January 22, 2018 at the Anna Mae Owen Residential Hospice House.
Mrs. Broach was born on August 16, 1934 in Graves County, Kentucky to the late Marvin Rhodes and Ruby (Timmons) Rhodes. Mrs. Broach was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Murray, Kentucky, the Christian Adult Sunday School Class, United Methodist Women, and was a former Sunday School Teacher and Church Board Member for over 60 years. She was office manager for Kentucky Farm Bureau Insurance for 40 years. She served on boards of Farm Bureau Women's Federation, Murray Calloway County Hospital, Murray Calloway County Library, American Red Cross, Calloway County Homemakers, Oaks Country Club, and American Cancer Society.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Ray T. Broach; and one brother, Archie Rhodes.
Survivors include, one son, Terry Broach of Murray, Kentucky; two daughters, Gale Cornelison of Murray, Kentucky and Kathie Pierce and husband Mike of Murray, Kentucky; two sisters, Anita Morris of St. Charles, Missouri and Carolyn Cox of St. Charles, Missouri; one brother, Carlton Eugene Rhodes of Ohio; five grandchildren, Casey Cornelison Thomas and husband Bryan of Fort Collins, Colorado, Clint Cornelison of Murray, Kentucky, Clay Cornelison of Murray, Taylor Pierce of New York, and Logan Pierce of Boston, Massachusetts; four great grandchildren, Katie, Avery, Emma, Wrigley all of Fort Collins, Colorado.
Funeral Services will be held 2:00 p.m., Saturday, January 27, 2018 at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home. Dr. Rick Dye will officiate, and burial will follow in the Murray City Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m., Saturday, January 27, 2018 at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home.
