Martha Rogers Hutchens

Mrs. Martha Rogers Hutchens, age 78, of Murray, Kentucky, died, Wednesday, March 6, 2013 at Murray Calloway County Hospital.

She was a former employee of J.C. Penney; she was a member of Williams Chapel Church of Christ; she was a member of the Easter Star #433.

She was born April 29, 1934 in Murray, Kentucky to the late Clifford Franklin and Rella Earl Hanes Rogers. In addition to her parents she is also preceded in death by her husband Walter Porter Hutchens in 1993; as well as one brother Joe F. Rogers

She is survived by two daughters, Melonie Hutchens Lowe and husband Richard of Murray, Kentucky, Dawn Hutchens Bramley and husband Jimmy of Murray, Kentucky; one sister, Dorothy Rogers Grogan and husband Isaac of Murray, Kentucky; four grandchildren, Ashley Lowe Norgard and husband John, Hillary Lowe Burgoyne and husband Michael, Allen Moore and fiancé Raegan Blankenship and Whitney Burkeen.

Graveside services will be held 10:00 am Saturday, March 9, 2013 in the Murray City Cemetery with Rev Dan Leslie officiating. Visitation will be held 4:00 – 8:00 pm Friday, March 8, 2013 at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home.
