Martha L. Murdock

Mrs. Martha L. Murdock, age 79 of Kirksey, Kentucky died, Wednesday, March 11, 2020, at her home.

She was of Church of Christ faith and retired from Mattel – Fisher Price in Murray.

Mrs. Murdock was born in Calloway County, Kentucky on March 18, 1940, to the late Melvin M. Lamb and Ruthie L. Lamb Hoke. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Murdock was preceded in death by one son, Rickey L. Smith; two brothers, James Lamb and Dwin "Dick" Lamb; one grandson, Kenny Jenkins.

Mrs. Murdock is survived by her husband, Gerald Murdock of Kirksey, Kentucky; they were married in Kirksey, Kentucky on November 18, 1989; one daughter, Belinda Jenkins and husband Dave of Kirksey, Kentucky; one son, Keith L. Smith and wife Sharon of Murray, Kentucky; three step children, Jeff Murdock, John Murdock and Felicia Harris; seven grandchildren, Brittany Weatherford, Candace Jenkins, MaKayla Jenkins, Jessica Cheatham, Abby Smith, Shane Smith and Lindsey Franklin; several great grandchildren also survive.

Graveside services will be held at 3:00 p.m., on Friday, March 13, 2020, at the Mt. Carmel Cemetery with John Dale officiating. Visitation will be held from 11:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m., on Friday, March 13, 2020, prior to the graveside service at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
