Mrs. Martha A. Padgett, age 76 of Shelbyville, Tennessee, formerly of Murray, Kentucky died on January 9, 2018 at the Alive Hospice in Murphysboro, Tennessee.
Mrs. Padgett was born on October 3, 1941 in Wyandotte, Michigan to the late Felix Ralph Moss and Juanita Louise Roberts Moss. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church in Murray, Kentucky.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by one brother, Ralph Wade Moss.
Survivors include her husband Earl Padgett to whom she was married on December 23, 1962 in Culver City, California; one daughter, Pamela Miller of Tustin, California; one son Chris Padgett and wife Carrie of Shelbyville, Tennessee; one sister Margaret Cook and husband Rod of Murray, Kentucky; one brother Bill Moss and wife Barbara of Los Angeles, California; and four grandchildren, Madeline, Abby, Emma and Eli, all of Shelbyville, Tennessee.
Graveside services will be held 2:00 p.m., Saturday, January 13, 2018 at New Concord Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m., Friday, January 12, 2018 at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home.
