Mary Bartlett

Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Bartlett, age 76, of Almo, Kentucky died Wednesday, August 30, 2017 at Spring Creek Health Care in Murray.

Mrs. Bartlett was born on April 27, 1941 in Abilene, Kansas to the late Mike Biggs and Eulalia Norton Biggs.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Bartlett; five brothers, Joe, John, Ross, Max and Mike Biggs.

Mrs. Bartlett was a retired Secretary for the Accounting Department of Murray State University and a member of the St. Leo Catholic Church.

Survivors include three daughters, Shannon Cohoon and husband David of New Concord, Kentucky, Julie Hammack and husband Jay of Murray, Kentucky and Stephanie Bartlett of Deland, Florida; two sons, Bryan Bartlett and wife Jen of Lexington, Kentucky and Todd Bartlett of Almo, Kentucky; as well as four grandchildren, Austin Cohoon and wife Phoebe of Murray, Kentucky, Devin Cohoon of New Concord, Kentucky, Amanda Cohoon of New Concord, Kentucky and Abby Bartlett of Lexington, Kentucky.

A funeral mass will be held on Sunday, September 3, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Leo Catholic Church in Murray, Kentucky with Father Brandon Williams and Father Mike Clark officiating. Entombment will follow in the Murray City Cemetery mausoleum. Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 2, 2017 from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home with a Prayer Service at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, September 2, 2017 at the funeral home.
