Mary Beth Carruthers

Mrs. Mary Beth Carruthers age 77, of Murray, Ky., died Saturday, April 12, 2014 at Paducah Center in Paducah, Ky.
Born January 6, 1937 in Murray, Ky., to the late William Riley and Virginia Louisa Black Furches. She was a homemaker, member of the First Baptist Church, and the Harvest Sunday School class. She was also a graduate of Murray State University with a B.S. in Education.
Survivors include her husband, G. Thomas Carruthers of Murray, Ky., they married August 30, 1959 in Murray, Ky., two sons, John Carruthers of Louisville, Ky., Jeffrey Carruthers and wife Patsy of Lexington, Ky., brother, Harry Furches and wife Jeanette of Murray, and two grandchildren, David and Rosemary Carruthers both of Lexington, Ky.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, April 17, 2014 at the First Baptist Church in Murray, Rev. Boyd Smith and Rev. Keith Inman will officiate, and burial will follow in the Murray City Cemetery. Visitation will be held Wednesday, April 16, 2014 from 5-8 p.m. at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home.
