Mary Etta Crouse

Ms. Mary Etta Crouse, age 74, of Murray, Kentucky died Tuesday, September 22, 2015 at her daughters home after an extended illness.

Ms. Crouse was born in Marshall County, Kentucky on April 13, 1941 to the late Ernest Taylor Freeman and Flora (Henson) Freeman. Ms. Crouse retired from Mattel in Murray, Kentucky.

In addition to her parents Ms. Crouse was preceded in death by two step mothers, Lareva Henson Freeman and Betty Dowdy Freeman; one brother, Edwin Freeman; and one step sister, Sue Byassee.

Ms. Crouse is survived by one daughter, Melissa Shipman and husband Paul of Murray, Kentucky; two sons, Donnie Crouse of Fruitland Park, Florida and Randy Crouse of Murray, Kentucky; half-sister, Irene Loe of Dexter, Kentucky; two half-brothers, Milton Freeman of Murray, Kentucky and Gerald Freeman of Benton, Kentucky; as well as three grandchildren, Brandon Underhill, Tia Crouse and Micah Crouse all of Murray, Kentucky.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, September 25, 2015 at 1:30 p.m. at Murray Memorial Gardens with Rev. Tim Palmer officiating. Burial will follow. A visitation will be held on Friday, September 25, 2015 prior to the graveside service from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home.
