Mary Carolyn Garland

Mrs. Mary Carolyn Garland, 71, of Union City, TN died on Friday, April 20, 2012 at her home following an extended illness.
Mrs. Garland was born in Calloway Co., KY on December 11, 1940 to the late Charlie Thomas Rowland and Cora Pearl Clark Rowland. Mrs. Garland was of Baptist faith.
In addition to her parents Mrs. Garland was preceded in death by her husband, Lonnie C. Garland, who died on August 12, 1997; five sisters, Louise Bray, Nadene Hendon, Wanda Willoughby, Jackie Ellis and Jessie Hill; four brothers, C.T. Rowland, Bob Rowland, Joe Rowland and Hubert Rowland.
Mrs. Garland is survived by her life partner of twelve years, Ronnie Hutchens of Union City, TN; three daughters, Cindy Long and husband Bobby of Union City, TN, Deana Totty and husband Tommy of Fulton ,KY and Krista Pate and husband John of South Fulton, TN; one son, Lonnie Clark Garland, Jr. and wife Carole of Union City, TN; one step son, Frankie Shane Hutchens and wife Dana of Obion, TN; as well as twenty three grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 23, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home with Rev. Bobby Williams officiating. Burial to follow in the Barnett Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 22, 2012 from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
