Mary Alice Garner

Mrs. Mary Alice Garner, age 94 of Murray, Kentucky, died Saturday, April 12, 2014 at Spring Creek Healthcare.
Mrs. Garner was born December 19, 1919 in Calloway County, Ky. to the late Oury and Myrta Strader Coleman. She was retired after 32 years of service from the Bank of Murray as an officer; and was also a member of the Glendale Road Church of Christ.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death her husband, Hafton C. Garner, one sister, Sue Coleman Bybee, and three brothers, Ted Coleman, Holmes Coleman, and Pat O. Coleman.
Survivors include a sister in law, Anna Lou Coleman of Murray, Ky., two nieces Sharon Kelso and husband Johnny of Murray, and Pamela Logue and husband Bruce of Benton, Ky., three nephews, Barry Bybee and wife Sandy of Cadiz, Ky., Buddy Bybee and wife Sharon of Murray, and Pat O. Coleman Jr. and wife Brenda of Columbia, Tn., Several great and great great nieces and nephews survive.
Funeral services will be held on 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 15, 2014 at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home with John Dale officiating; burial will follow in the Elm Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5-8pm on Monday, April 14, 2014 at the J.H. Churchill funeral home.
