Mary Lou Lyles

Mrs. Mary Lou Lyles, age 81, of Murray, Kentucky passed away, Monday, February 3, 2025, at the Murray-Calloway County Hospital in Murray, Kentucky.

 She was born in Melber, Kentucky on April 8, 1943, to the late Louis R Joiner Sr. and Mary Odell Lynch Joiner-Brown.

 Mary Lou retired from BB&T Bank, formerly Peoples Bank of Murray where she was an assistant branch manager and teller. She was a member of the Murray First United Methodist Church and the Glass Pack Corvette Club.

 In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Keith Lyles; two brothers, Louis Russell Joiner Jr and David Michael Joiner.

 Mary Lou is survived by her daughter, Kelly Lyles of Murray, Kentucky; one sister, Cheryl Dykes of Paducah, Kentucky as well as several nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews. 

 Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 11, 2025, in the chapel of the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home and Cremation Services. Bro. Jim Stahler will officiate with the burial to follow in the Murray Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held Monday, February 10, 2025, from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
