Mary Louise Outland

Mrs. Mary Louise Outland age 104, of Lexington, Ky., formerly of Murray, Ky., died Sunday, April 28, 2013 at the Mayfair Manor Nursing Home in Lexington, Ky.Mrs. Outland was born July 7, 1908 in Biringham, Ky., to the late M.R. and Verna Cox. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Wilbert Outland, daughter, Letricia Cooper.
Mrs. Outland graduated from Murray State College and taught elementary grades in Marshall and Callaway County school systems.
She is survived by a daughter, Nancy Westerveld of Lexington, Ky., four grandchildren, Annie Yates of Boca Raton, Fla., Steve Cooper of Frederickburg, Va., Mary Anne Samuels of Lexington, Ky., and Thomas Samuels and wife Julene of Lexington, Ky., also five great grandchildren, and three great great grandchildren survive.
Graveside services will be held 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, May 1, 2013 at the Murray City Cemetery, Rev. Jim Stahler will officiate and burial will follow. Visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. till 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 1, 2013 at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home.
