Mary Lee Ramsey

Mrs. Mary Lee Ramsey, age 76, of Murray, Kentucky, died, Thursday, November 01, 2018, at the Murray Calloway County Hospital.

She was born in Murray, Kentucky on November 4, 1941 to the late Charles Thomas and Faye Adams Miller. She was retired from Woodcrafters Furniture Gallery in Murray she had also previously owned Ramsey's Discount Shoes and had been a teller for the Bank of Murray. She was graduate of the Almo High School and had attended Murray State University. Mrs. Ramsey was a member of the Memorial Baptist Church in Murray.

In addition to her parents she is also preceded in death by her husband, Rex Ramsey; two sisters, Linda Hoke and Shirley Carpenter; and grandson, Micah Smith.

Mrs. Ramsey is survived by three daughters, Debbie Hargrove of Murray, Kentucky, Melissa Guthrie and husband Roger of Murray, Kentucky, and Teresa Skinner and husband Rodney of Hazel, Kentucky; one sister, Kathy Miller of Kirksey, Kentucky; four grandchildren, Justin Hargrove, Rodney Skinner Jr., Toby Guthrie, and Trae Skinner; as well as one great-grandchild, Draven Hargrove.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, November 5, 2018, in the chapel of the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home with burial following in the Murray Memorial Gardens. Bro. Jim Simmons, Bro. Brett Miles, and Bro. Martin Severns will officiate. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m., Sunday, November 4, 2018, at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home.
